Enterprise CV-6 undergoing full power trials in Puget Sound, 4-5 September 1945, following her extensive refit in Bremerton, WA.
On the first day of trials, a bearing in her propulsion system overheated, necessitating a brief return to the Navy Yard for repairs. Trials the following day were successful.
