The Japanese cruiser Mikuma, photographed by CP J. A. Mihalovic from an Enterprise SBD, 6 June 1942. Mikuma, damaged in a collision with sister ship Mogami the night before, was subjected to multiple strikes by Hornet and Enterprise dive bombers and sank shortly after this photo was taken.
