LCDR John A. Collett commanded Air Group 10's Torpedo Ten (VT-10) between 16 - 26 October 1942, and was killed in action during the Battle of Santa Cruz, 26 October 1942. This image is from a photo of VT-10 officers at Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, and is the only known image of LCDR Collett.
