Two Japanese carriers - Zuikaku (right) and probably Zuiho - maneuver frantically to evade attacking planes from Enterprise and other carriers of Task Force 38, the morning of 25 October 1944, during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Zuikaku, the last carrier remaining of the six which had attacked Pearl Harbor, sunk in mid-afternoon.
