NAG-90 Commanding Officer CDR William I. Martin celebrates his birthday aboard the Big E, 5 May 1945. According to VT(N)-90's squadron history, while "some sources" claimed it was CDR Martin's 36th, his only comment was "I'll never see twenty-eight again!"
