SBDs from Enterprise's VB-10 approach from the north to support US landings at Tanahmerah Bay, New Guinea, 22 April 1944. The largest landing of the Pacific War to date, the assault met little enemy opposition, but weather and unexpectedly poor (or non-existant!) roads slowed progress.
