Admiral Marc Mitscher, aboard Enterprise shortly after his transfer from Bunker Hill, 11 May 1945. Bunker Hill CV-17, Mitscher's flag ship, was severely damaged by two suicide planes on the 11th, suffering nearly 400 men killed or missing.
