A unique hand-colored photograph of Yorktown CV-5, circa August 1941. Yorktown could be distinguished from her nearly identical sister ship Enterprise CV-6 by the large "Y" painted on her island, as can be seen in this picture. The photo was found by Arnold Olson, former Enterprise CV-6 Association Public Affairs Officer, but its original source is unknown.
