Enterprise CV-6 Flight Deck
Fighting Six Wildcats spotted on the Big E's flight deck as she and Hornet CV-8 approach Tokyo to launch the 18 April 1942 Doolittle Raid. With Hornet's flight deck closed for flight operations, Enterprise and Air Group Six performed all patrol and search missions for Task Force 16, as it crossed the North Pacific.
