The oiler Cimarron AO-22 approaches Enterprise CV-6, 25 January 1944. Four days later, the Big E - part of Task Group 58.1 - struck at Taroa and Maloelap in the Marshall Islands: the very islands she had raided in the US Navy's first offensive strikes nearly two years before.
