Insignia of Bombing Squadron Five. Following the Japanese attacks on Yorktown CV-5 during the Battle of Midway, VB-5 (which relieved VS-5 during the Midway campaign) and VB-3 (which took over VB-5's normal duties) operated from Enterprise CV-6 for the remainder of the battle.
