A quad 1.1" anti-aircraft gun mount, on Enterprise CV-6. One of the fleet's main anti-aircraft weapons during the first 6 months of the war, the 1.1" - also known as "Pom-Poms" - were literally deafening, and of limited effectiveness against attacking planes. They were soon replaced by 40mm Bofors cannons.
