0615 | (about) Launched with scouting group to search a southeasterly sector in company with 6-S-7 (Lt.(jg) Milton) as substitute for 6-S-18. |
0900 | Arrived vicinity Barber's Point - nothing sighted. Shifting from homing frequency (KGU) to voice - heard report concerning enemy attack. |
0915 | Joined 6-S-10 as did other scouts (total 7). Observed unidentified planes rendezvousing in Barber's Point vicinity, alt. 8-10,000 feet. The latter were in two groups of about 15 and 25 planes respectively. |
1000 | Landed Ewa field - took off immediately for Ford Island. Were fired on when making approach for landing by D.D. and possibly other craft. Returned to Ewa. |
1015 | Armed with 500 pound bomb and full gas load. |
1100 | Took off to rendezvous with Army attack group. One burst A.A. near Ford Island. Instructed to land at Ford Island. Landing at 1130. |
1230 | Took off in company 6-S-1 for unsuccessful 200 mile search north of Oahu. |
1530 | Landed Ford Island - serviced and secured plane. |
